After oral absorption, ezetimibe combines with glucuronide to form an active substance, and ezetimibe-glucuronide is excreted through bile and kidney. After oral administration, the peak blood concentration was reached within 4 to 12 h, the Cmax was 3.4 to 5.5 mg/mL, the bioavailability was between 35% and 60%, and the t1/2 was about 22 h.
